2030 commitments

Measured progress for responsible basic chemistry

Olin frames sustainability around operating data, documented boundaries, and continuous improvement. The 2030 program covers energy intensity, water reuse, waste recovery, supplier documentation, and product stewardship. Each metric is presented with a baseline and method context because broad environmental language is not useful to EHS teams, investors, or customers preparing audits.

Quarterly progress

Four operating indicators reviewed together

Energy intensity

Tracked per operating unit with production-normalized review.

Water reuse

Measured within defined site water balance boundaries.

Waste recovery

Includes approved beneficial use routes and documented handling.

Document coverage

Counts products with controlled SDS, TDS, and regulatory statements.

Third-party verification and review paths

Olin treats verification as a process, not a badge wall. Customers may request report references, data boundaries, and the review path used for a claim. Where third-party review applies, the response identifies the topic, review body, period, and document source. Where a topic remains internally calculated, the response states that boundary clearly.
